French L’automobile Magazine has named the Jaguar XE as Most Reliable Family Car.
The 2017 Jaguar XE is a luxury vehicle offering a stylish design, powerful engine choices and excellent handling. Available trim levels include the base XE, XE Premium, XE Prestige and XE-R Sport. The Jaguar XE Premium adds in an 11-speaker sound system, memory settings on the driver seat and a rearview camera. The XE Prestige trim level comes with leather appointed and temperature controlled seats, a telescopic steering wheel and voice recognition. The XE R-Sport comes with satellite radio, a blind spot monitoring system, parking sensors and unique styling touches.
Numerous engine choices are available for the Jaguar XE. The base engine is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 240 hp. Buyers can also opt for a turbodiesel 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine with an output of 180 hp. Buyers who want more power can opt for the supercharged 3.0 liter V6 with 340 hp.
The interior seats five passengers. Sports seats are optional. Standard interior features include a 8″ touch screen, Bluetooth compatibility, a USB port, stereo system, moonroof and push button start. Optional features include a Wi-Fi hot spot, 1.2″ touch screen, 17-speaker stereo system, voice recognition, a rearview camera and active park assist. Cargo space stands at 15.9 cubic feet which is large for its class.
Safety features include air bags, ABS, brake assist, ESC, child safety locks, daytime running lights, night vision, traction control and a rollover protection system.
